Getting Started

Welcome to the glomex Publisher Documentation! This guide will walk you through the process of integrating the glomex Video Player into your website. By following these steps, you’ll be able to monetize your content and deliver a high-quality video experience to your users.

Create a glomex Account

If you don’t already have a glomex account, sign up at exchange.glomex.com/registration . The registration process is straightforward and only takes a few minutes to complete.

💡

During registration, you’ll need to provide basic information about your website or application where you plan to integrate the glomex player.

Create a Player Configuration

Log in to your glomex account at exchange.glomex.com
Navigate to the Players section
Click “Create New Player” and configure your player settings
Once created, copy your unique Integration ID - you’ll need this for the next steps

You can create multiple player configurations for different sections of your website or for different use cases.

Add Domains to the Allow List

For security reasons, glomex players will only work on domains that have been explicitly added to your allow list.

Add the Embed Code to Your Website

Add the following code to your HTML where you want the video player to appear:

Replace:

YOUR_INTEGRATION_ID with your Integration ID (appears twice in the code)
YOUR_PLAYLIST_ID with the ID of the playlist you want to display

Implement a TCF-Compliant CMP

To ensure GDPR compliance and enable monetization, you must implement a TCF-compliant Consent Management Platform (CMP) on your website.

⚠️

Without a proper CMP implementation, monetization features will be limited in regions where GDPR applies.

Add Required ads.txt Entries

To maximize your monetization potential and ensure all demand partners can bid on your inventory, add the required ads.txt entries to your website.
